Jobbers Pants Factory
The first job opportunity outside the home for black women in Martinsville, VA occured with the opening of Jobbers. Saul Schreibfeder initiated their hiring. Here's a shot of the factory floor with many women working at sewing machines. Click HERE for a 16x10 enlarged version.
